An 8-hour and 4-hour endurance race. 7.1 mile loop with 860 feet of elevation gain and loss.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to the Second Annual Casper Mountain Challenge Mountain Bike Race!
This 4 or 8 hour endurance event is going to be fun and very challenging with a starting elevation of 7,600' on top of Casper Mountain. The course may seem short to some of you at just 7.1 miles, but add over 860' elevation gain PER LAP, and you'll understand the shorter distance.
The 8-hour race begins at 8:00 a.m. and 4-hour race begins at 12 Noon.
Casper Mountain has some really great single-track that will be about 75% of the course length with dirt two-track consisting of the rest. Rocks, roots, logs, rippin' fast descents and heart pounding climbs will truly test your endurance!
There are campsites along the course and are available for $10 per night. Visit the kiosks around the area to secure your site.
